Each student is responsible for completing all requirements for graduation. All students must complete the departmental distribution requirements, see list below. In addition each year all students must complete Service-Learning hours. JCS students, grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 are required to complete twenty-five (25) hours of documented service learning per academic year. Service-Learning, for the most part, is built into the JCS curriculum. All seniors are required to complete a Senior Capstone Project.

* Specific requirements may be waived as is deemed appropriate by the HOS, especially in cases where students have transferred in from other schools and specific requirements are not offered at JCS the right year.
Total to graduate~ 26 credits
|Leadership||.25 credit may be earned each year of Junior and Senior year.|
|Service/Community||.5 credit may be earned every high school year through regular participation in Circle, Community activities, and completing 25 Service hours. (approximately 85 hrs. total per year)|
|Career/Life Skills||Includes Internships, Expeditions, any related courses Expeditions generally earn .25 credit|
